Next, let’s have a look at how NameHero’s customer support does with some real world testing. They offer direct support via live chat, email support, ticketing, as well as a comprehensive knowledge base of useful articles and resources.

The NameHero live chat is available 24/7. I was greeted by a bot first, where my query was evaluated and then quickly transferred to a human agent. 

Email Support

Fill in your personal info, as well as relevant department and the priority level of your request, then input the subject line and query details for the NameHero email support team.

When you’re a customer, you can also open an urgent ticket directly from your NameHero user dashboard.

Overall, I can’t really fault NameHero customer support. Phone line support may be appreciated by some customers, so this may be a slight negative. However, I found the live chat support team to be capable of helping with my queries; and the knowledge base well-stocked with information and guides to facilitate quick answers and self-help.

So far, so good, for NameHero – performance meets all promises, and customer service is second-to-none. 

But how easy are NameHero services to use? 

Registration

NameHero makes registration and server setup extremely simple. Head to the homepage, choose your hosting type, and find the best plan for your own hosting needs. 

Next, you can either register a new domain or enter one you already own. 

This is made even easier later on with free website migrations and domain registration for one year – so whichever you choose, with NameHero you’ll see benefits!

Select your preferred billing cycle and configure your plan options (this is where you get all the juicy NameHero add ons). 

Finally, security and protection extras like ID protection and email forwarding options. 

When you’re done, click Continue and you’ll be taken to payment! Once everything was paid, I received my confirmation email and was able to login to the NameHero dashboard. 

NameHero Control Panel

cPanel is the default control panel interface for all NameHero’s web hosting and reseller hosting packages. 

It gives you complete control over your website, you can install WordPress, upload files, manage/restore backups,  set up email accounts, add domains/subdomains, and much more.

You can gain access in the client area, click on ‘my cloud’, then the hosting package, and then click on ‘login to cPanel’.

Installing WordPress on NameHero

NameHero is a WordPress-friendly environment so installing it is very simple. Go to the cPanel and open the WordPress manager, click on ‘Install now’, and go through a brief checklist.

Fill out the software setup and website settings, create an admin account, choose language, select plugins, configure advanced options, choose a theme, and click ‘Install’. In a few seconds, your WordPress will be up and running.

Adding an Email Account with NameHero

NameHero allows you to add email to your domain name in the cPanel. Once you log in, find your way to ‘Email accounts’, open it, and click ‘create’.

Enter the relevant information like password, mailbox size, and the domain it will be tied to. Click ‘create’ and it’s done!

In terms of usability, again, I can’t fault NameHero’s tools. Everything is where it should be, clearly labelled and easy to use. Installs and setups for essential functions take a couple of minutes, and the set of tools provided offer everything you would need for server and domain management.

While not the cheapest provider on the market, I’d happily recommend NameHero’s hosting services to almost any potential user.
