Rating Breakdown
There are a lot of managed hosting platforms in the market today, but how does Liquid Web fare in comparison to them?
Our experts at HostAdvice developed a standardized hosting rating methodology that rates hosts based on how they perform in relation to their competitors. We’ll use this to rate Liquid Web across different metrics so as to get the most accurate representation of the host’s quality in each metric, which helps in deciding the best for your website.
Parameter | Score | Why we gave this score |
PRICES | 7.5 | Liquid Web’s plans are quite pricey, which is understandable given the kind of features you get. But in relation to similar hosting providers, the prices are actually pretty standard, so I give them a 7.5 rating. |
FEATURES | 9.0 | Multiple cPanels, Softaculous, Acronis backups, email hosting, Cloudflare, and SSL protection are among the features you get from all of Liquid Web’s plans. However, the multiple cPanel options (InterWorks and cPanel) are why I rate them very highly at 9.0 |
PERFORMANCE | 9.2 | Excellent performance – 120 ms average response time, 100% uptime guarantee, high-performance SSD, etc. The reason I rated them a 9.2 is for their 100% uptime guarantee, which is quite impressive. |
USER FRIENDLINESS | 7.5 | Nice UI, 1-click WordPress installs, a modern cPanel, and an incredibly intuitive user management dashboard. Liquid Web is quite user-friendly… However, it’s designed for experts and beginners may have a steeper learning curve. For this reason, I settle with a 7.5. |
SUPPORT | 9.5 | Liquid Web offers 24/7 support through a vast knowledgebase, phone, live chat email, and socials. Overall, Liquid Web’s customer support is excellent no doubt, so I give them a 9.5 rating. |
