To evaluate the performance of Levamo WordPress hosting, I wanted to simulate a realistic scenario – something that any everyday user might experience while building and maintaining a WordPress site.
My goal was to see how Levamo handles common tasks in WordPress, especially when managing a content-rich page.
So, after logging into the dashboard, I accessed the WordPress admin area by clicking on WP Admin.
Once inside, I created a “Levamo Performance Test Page.” I planned to make this page “heavy” by adding a variety of content elements—text, images, and embedded videos—to give it a real-world feel and to simulate how a live site with mixed media content would perform.
On this test page, I started by writing an introductory paragraph explaining the purpose of the page. I then organized the content with several headings and subheadings, such as “Introduction,” “Features,” and “Media Content,” to give the page structure and make it easier to navigate.
Next, I added a few images. And for an extra layer of complexity, I also embedded a YouTube video by simply pasting the video URL into the content editor, which WordPress automatically converted into an embedded video player. This is a typical feature many WordPress users rely on to keep their content engaging.
This content mix – text, images, and video – reflects what a typical WordPress page might contain, so it provided an ideal setup for testing Levamo performance under realistic conditions. I wanted to see how Levamo would handle the load with a “busy” page like this, simulating real visitor interactions.
Once the page was fully set up and published, I decided to boost its performance by installing a caching plugin. I chose LiteSpeed Cache, a widely trusted caching solution for WordPress, which is particularly effective on servers that support LiteSpeed technology.
But one thing I noticed while exploring Levamo offerings is that it also comes with built-in performance tools like ElasticPress and Object Cache Pro. These additions make a significant difference in performance, especially for WordPress sites that rely heavily on dynamic content:
I found it impressive that Levamo includes these powerful tools. They’re usually premium features that other hosting providers might charge extra for, but with Levamo, they’re built-in, showing their commitment to high performance.
With the caching plugin enabled and the test page published, I was ready to measure the page’s performance using GTMetrix.
GTMetrix is a reliable tool that provides a detailed look at a website’s speed and responsiveness. I used GTMetrix to see exactly how my “Levamo Performance Test Page” would perform under simulated real-world conditions.
Here’s what I found:
These results are quite impressive, especially given the mix of media on the page. Here’s what each of these metrics means and why they’re important:
The caching setup with LiteSpeed Cache worked very well. It allowed the page to load more efficiently by serving static content rather than dynamically generating each request.
Combined with Levamo built-in Object Cache Pro and ElasticPress, this setup created a solid foundation for performance. Together, these tools minimized the server load and ensured the page was served as quickly as possible.
I could tell that the caching was doing its job because metrics like TTFB and LCP were low, showing that the server was handling requests efficiently.
I’m genuinely impressed with Levamo performance. Combining caching tools, database optimization, and search enhancements creates a hosting environment that can easily handle demanding WordPress setups. These test results show that Levamo is a high-performing provider, capable of supporting dynamic, content-heavy sites with strong speed and stability.
Levamo has a strong lineup of support features, especially for Enhanced and Elite Plans users, which provide premium assistance tailored to their hosting needs.
Here’s how each support option works based on my review:
