4 days serves down! March 21st to 25th 2024 the Strasbourg datacenter is down. No ETA on when it will be up again. The worsy possible nightmare foa a company that relias on hospitality, booking and ticketing sales. We are loosing all our customers to competing platforms. No support, no effort to provide a temporary server in another datacenter ... the most horrible experience in 25 year in IT
Velia.net Strasbourg Data Center is down since 21st March 2024. They are misleading to their customers. There are news that there was a fire at their power supply room. All of our businesses are down because even after 3 days they couldnt restore the service and sending emails that this can take Several Days. Be careful before you buy such bad server. If you are willing to risk your entire company and going down for several days is not an issue for you, Please proceed to buy this amazingly crappy Velia.net dedicated Server service.
All good so far....Servers are quite good and support team is very prompt and professional...I would recommend...I am new to them so will update this as time goes by
We are using around 30 DEDICATED SERVERS of velia.net and we are really happy with the performance, price and support provided by them. If you are looking for DEDICATED SERVERS at lower cost then i would recommend you to go for VELIA.NET first.
I have a dedicated server from velia.net and the service is good overall: good resources for the money and they offer good support, they answer quickly and one person can help you with everything
good product and price, not the same with the support
Server, panel, speed, bandwith all is good but: 1) they sent in the night a payment invoice reminder, not time to read and they unplugged the server from the network, 10 vm of customer not working for hours 2) serverl M2 disk disconnection (where OS is installed), ticket opened to check compatibility with the server but never solved, answer like "all seems ok, try to reboot...". At the end I moved away, I can't have such support for a professional service.
I use Velia from 2 years and have about 30 servers there. I was referred from a friend of mine who use them for more than 10 years, but have only 1 server.
Never had any problems. Support is also very good.
All my servers are in Europe and are Dual CPU with hardware RAID, SSD disks and 100 Mbit unmetered traffic.

In the beginning of 2020, I also had project in Hong Kong. We got 3 or 4 servers for 3 mo. All worked great, was quite fast from EU as well. Velia HK price was half of any other reliable HK company I was able to find - we save lots of money. After we got necessary documents, HK project later was moved to their European datacenter.
To be 100% honest with you - never had problems with emails with Velia, at least not beyond usual stuff - If you have reverse resolving and SPF usually most providers such gmail, yahoo etc. works OK.
I used ovh, hetzner, contabo and some more providers but email issues faced only from velia. But our all other providers servers emails working properly but velia server not proper. Our all records proper but no hope
