The cPanel hosting plan begins at $7.95 per month and offers unmetered bandwidth, 8 GB of RAM, 50 GB of SSD storage, and 8 CPU cores. If you want additional storage space, you have to pay $0.10 per 1 GB.

The DirectAdmin hosting plan begins at $3.95/month and offers the same features as the cPanel plan. The only difference is the lack of features such as clustered DNS and Ruby framework and the fact that it doesn’t support India and Singapore data centers.

The startup options are cheaper but limited in features.

Economy Hosting

Economy hosting is a cheaper version of the shared hosting plans. It offers only DirectAdmin and is limited in features.

SimpleSonic performance is commendable.

Speed Test

The test on PageSpeed Insights showed a speed index of 1.8s, which is quite decent, although there is room for improvement.

Uptime Test

The web host advertises 100% uptime, but live testing shows uptimes as low as 99.7755%, which is quite decent for a new web hosting company.

Loading time

According to GTMetrix, the website loading speed is 642ms (0.6s), far better than the recommended 2-second speed.

Level of Support

SimpleSonic offers 24/7 live chat support, which I tested and found to be prompt and reliable.

The chat agent joined within seconds and directly answered my question.

Other support channels include a ticketing system and web form. The web host also offers a decent knowledge base for DIY customers.

As mentioned earlier and as you’ll see below, SimpleSonic is a user-friendly web hosting provider.

Registration

To begin, locate your preferred plan and click on “order”. On the next page, fill in your website domain name.

On the next page, make your account configurations. You can purchase add-ons at this point.

Next, you will be asked to review your domain configuration.

Review your selections and domain (if you are using a new domain).

Enter your account registration details, choose your payment method, and select  “complete order” to create your account.

SimpleSonic Control Panel

SimpleSonic offers both cPanel and DirectAdmin. cPanel is the most popular option but also the costlier one. However, I recommend it for all users since it is easy to use and offers more features and tools than DirectAdmin.

Add an email account with SimpleSonic

To create an email account, log in to your control panel. Locate the email icon, click on it, and fill in the necessary information. The email account will be live in seconds.

Conclusion: Do We Recommend SimpleSonic?

I recommend SimpleSonic with a “but.” If you need basic hosting for your business website, blog, or personal hobby, SimpleSonic will get the job done.

If you also want to offer web hosting services to regular users, the reseller hosting is perfect for you. However, if you are running a resource-hungry application, website, or e-commerce store, consider getting a web hosting provider with VPS or dedicated servers.
