I would avoid Livingdot. I've been with them for about 15 years and they once were quick to troubleshoot and get you going. Today, I've dealt with a half dozen staff in two departments just to create a second site. Not sure what happened there but look elsewhere.
They have been charging us repeatedly for hosting service we do not receive and have not for several years. Their customer service is not existent. They do not respond. They claim we do not have an account yet they are charging a card regularly. We are getting invoices (for services we don't receive) from MNHost.com but the charges are on the cc bill from LivingDot. Scam company working through/with another scam company.
I would be careful about so loosely characterizing the Living Dot enterprise as a "scam.". You appear to indicate that you were a customer of them a few years ago. The current issue appears to be erroneous on-going billing. That's a different issue. I have been a customer of Living Dot for over 20 years and continue to receive reliable web hosting from them. When I need to talk to someone in billing about a current bill, they have been quite responsive in assisting me. I would no more accuse Living Dot of being a scam operation than I would accuse Twin Cities Dental of being a scam operation. Food for thought.
