I have multiple clients on the reseller account with them and they suddenly just one day decided to suspend my account. Now they are not replying to the ticket. It's been 10 days. Very risky service! DO NOT TRUST THEM.
I recently had a terrible experience with HostPoco.com, the worst hosting service I've encountered in nearly 12 years of web development. At first, the low price drew me in, but the service quality is horrendous. My site is down most of the time, making it incredibly unreliable.
When I contacted their customer support about my site being down, they responded with a dismissive and unprofessional message: "We are no longer offering old price plans, either upgrade your plan to upgraded pricing and move away to different provider." This was despite the fact that I still have nearly 6 months left on my current plan. It was set to expire in end of January 2025.
It's clear that HostPoco is trying to force customers to pay more without providing any real improvements in service. Their approach feels like a tactic to squeeze more money out of users. The low cost initially seemed like a good deal, but it came with low performance and poor service quality. I strongly advise against using HostPoco.com for hosting. They're unreliable and unprofessional, and their business practices are highly questionable.
worst service, The support contact's name is Kiya Walker. My WHM and websites was suspended without reason, it's not clear until now, even though the expiry date is still December 2024, why has it been suspended on May 22? This is criminal, billing abuse
Hostpoco.com is the WORST server I have ever seen!
This is a long story and if you don’t want to read it, reread that first line and take my word for it. Stay away from Hostpoco.
I deleted all my web pages a few years ago and just kept two domains. Since all I wanted was email, I chose a cheap server for that. A little over $17 a year for each domain.
It started out great but after a while I noticed my email was down. I would submit a Service Ticket and in a day or two it would be restored. Each time I would also be locked out of my Cpanel. It kept happening more and more and the days of no service kept getting longer. Four or five days. Seven or eight days. Ten or twelve days. The last time was eighteen days. When the service gets restored, all the email for those days was lost.
Then they told me they were raising the rates on hosting and I hadn’t paid. Mind you, I had no pages hosted and they never sent me an invoice. I reminded them of that. No services restored. Then they said there was a Cpanel charge I hadn’t paid. Again, no invoice. After weeks, they finally gave me an invoice of $63.30 for Cpanel service. I paid it. No service.
I submitted numerous Service Tickets and sent a lot of support email request. All ignored. I really wanted to transfer my domains to a different company but the domains were locked and I couldn’t get EPP codes. Eventually after months of trying they sent me EPP codes but I was still locked out of the CPanel so I couldn’t transfer the domains.
They did everything they could to deny me service and refuse to help in any way. I finally after the last round of eighteen days got the Cpanel restored and submitted transfer to another company. That should be almost instantaneous but it still hasn’t happened.
After I had access to my Cpanel again I requested a transfer of my domains to another server. That server put in the request. The request has to be answered in 5 days so Hostpoco waited to the very last minute to allow the transfer.
I am now on a new server and thankful my nightmare with Hostpoco is finally over. I wish I could give them less than one star.
Please stay away from this hostpoco. It is not worth a single penny.
We subscribed and paid for the unlimited PRO Plan for a year, but they put a limit on my disk space and usage. We raised a support ticket to increase our disk space and usage, but they suddenly changed their price and ask more money from me. The unlimited PRO Plan that I have subscribed and paid is still active and they are already asking for more money and forcing me to upgrade. I won't recommend this web hosting to anyone. There are a few other reliable webhosting out there. Please stay away from them. That is my piece of advice to you.
Low prices compared to the competition, good free hosting plan. Good control panel, easy to use. Although reviews are important to raise awareness of the service, activation of the free hosting plan should not be delayed until the customer posts reviews.
Happy that i found them, very positive tech support. When I signed up with them, they migrated my site and in the middle they helped with the cloudflare linking and now site is having perfect presence
I am testing this free host for one of my domains. So far everything works very well, it has a lot of services and scripts. Later on I will buy a WHM or vps.
