We have the honor to speak with Mr. Vinicius Nascimento from Eve Cloud, a company based in beautiful Brasil. We are going to learn more about their products and services and the hosting industry in general.
We hope you will enjoy this interview as much as we did.

Coming from the best carnival and best football players, we are speaking with Mr. First Name from . What is the history of Eve Cloud? When did it all start?
Vinícius, Eve Cloud was born from the need and dream of being an entrepreneur. It all started in 2011 when I had to move to another state in search of a new work option and quality of life, I left São Paulo and went to Pernambuco, northeast of Brazil. Eve Cloud is born when I lose my job at a college in the state, with no prospect of fast work and with good knowledge of technology, Eve Cloud is born as a hosting reseller.
What were the main challenges that you faced along the way?
Without a doubt it was the competition, the hosting market in Brazil is very strong and there were many national and international competitors in Brazil who are still market leaders.
What are the top products and services of ?
The main products of Eve Cloud today are shared hosting, due to its low cost, performance, and availability of our servers. Not to mention the closest customer support via Whatsapp and Telephone.
When it comes to what is essential to a customer, most of them say speed, backup, and security. How is handling these things?
Since the birth of Eve Cloud we have worked tirelessly to bring the best possible performance, today we have a team of specialists only to test performance on our servers in search of improvements, we have partnered with the largest datacenter in the world to make our backups safely and comfortably for our customers. For our customers, we also have a SOC (“Security Operations Center”) to manage all security incidents. Besides, of course, we have great players on the market to help us with protection software on all our servers.
What happens when you have a sudden spike in traffic? Does the customer are affected?
Our servers are cloud-based with auto-scaling so when a client has a sudden increase in traffic, our servers can self-allocate resources so that the client is not affected while our NOC checks if the traffic is really real or malicious.
We noticed that you are accepting Bitcoin as a payment method on your website. What is your opinion of cryptocurrencies? How are they going to change the hosting industry? Are honored not in general?
Yes, we are passionate about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, I worked in one of the biggest Bitcoin exchange houses in Brazil, I am an investor and Bitcoin evangelizing. Bitcoin is controlled by all Bitcoin users around the world. Bitcoin can change not only the hosting industry but the way in which money is available worldwide, Bitcoin is free payment, has great rates, has less risk for merchants, you can have security and full control over your money, it’s transparent and neutral, unfortunately, people are still aware of Bitcoin. Every day, more companies accept bitcoins because they want the perks in doing so, but the list remains small and still needs to grow, an end to benefit from network effects.
What are the new products and new technologies that you are particularly interested in? What plans do you have to introduce them to your customers?
Without a doubt, Blockchain wants to bet heavily on P2P technology to host websites too, decentralized websites using Bitcoin encryption. Accepting Bitcoin has already aroused the curiosity of hundreds of people, I think this is a good step to show that we can not only use the Blockchain network financially but also host websites.
What are your plans for 2022 in terms of expanding to new markets?
We now intend to focus on performance and security, with the increase in IOTs we need to think not only about performance but also about security and open new offices, even in Brazil. and Who knows the future in Europe.
Where do you see your company going in the next ten years?
I believe that in 10 years we will not only be in Brazil but also expanding to Europe, starting with Portugal and Spain. This is our dream.
Finally, what advice would you give our readers on what to look for when picking their hosting provider?
First, you need to see what security features are offered by the company, another determining factor is the quality of technical support and then performance are the three most important pillars in my opinion.
