In this following interview, our interlocutor is Mr. Prasenjit Kuiry, the Founder and CEO of HostAye, a hosting company.

HostAye was founded in 2017 and it has more than 4 years of experience in the hosting market. Can you tell us about the idea of HostAye?
Prasenjit: There have been a bunch of experiences for the past four years come up it is not easy running a hosting company since there is a lot of competition in the hosting market, but challenging situations have allowed us to improve our services.
What are the core values of HostAye that each team member has that drive the company towards success?
Prasenjit: What I like about this company is that there is no single head, only a leader who makes sure to impart knowledge on the does then don’t of the company. We are all equal, sharing ideas and values, bringing up suggestions, and following the regulations. It is rightfully said that teamwork makes the dream work, together we make sure that we are providing the best hosting service ever, hard work also plays an important role here. We don’t have a fixed work hour, we make sure to put in our efforts until the work is complete, quite the dedicated team members you know. HostAye represents true leadership as well as organizational values.
There are many hosting services from different companies. What are the main services that HostAye is offering to its clients?
Prasenjit: Customer satisfaction. We like to question ourselves from time to time, how are we going to satisfy the client first? Most other companies set a profit mark an focus on earning revenue rather than complying with the demands of their clients. This is wrong in different ways, the quality of service and focus on client satisfaction should be the number one goal. Since we make sure that every client goes back satisfied, we own quite some goodwill that is going to contribute a lot to building the presence of the company as well as setting standards. Moreover, we also provide a reasonable price range which is affordable for most of our clients. To put it in short, we are better than most pricey companies that do not focus on consumer satisfaction. We have always stood out and continue to be so.
Covid-19 affected whole industries and changed the way of living. How HostAye has handled this situation?
Prasenjit: It is not new to know that the pandemic has been swallowing companies, industries, and many other small business organizations. However, our company received a bunch of new customers in the first few weeks come up while the workload started to increase. We all know how every organization has been forced to shift their business home, our team was prepared to organize their work in a disciplined manner even while they were working from home. Although some of us faced some challenges because we were not expecting such a drastic change, but provided our dedication we improved the communication procedure without being physically present. With time, things got better and we started to feel like with proper experience, we would be able to get through this too. After all, we would not be having any more whiteboard conferences or brainstorming ideas while we are physically present but the online presence was enough for us to share our thoughts and channelize our ideas. Although taking collective decisions proved to be challenging, we obviously overcome that, gradually but surely. By now we have the expertise for various tools and technologies that are required to function normally even while we work from home.
The pandemic is still with us and it might be still here in 2021. What are your expectations and what will be the impact in the following months?
Prasenjit: HostAye has been ever prepared for anything. These minor communicational problems have always arisen even in our office hours. We are prepared for anything that is thrown at us, consistency is the key.
What do you think is the most important in the hosting industry?
Prasenjit: Personally, I think the three things that every hosting service company must keep in mind, are- Quality service, affordable pricing, and a great amount of support from the team. That’s all that it needs, specialize in these areas to make sure that you are maintaining the quality, clients are going to flood in.
There are many causes of a sudden spike in traffic. How HostAye handles these unexpected spikes in traffic?
Prasenjit: Indeed very sudden, sometimes there is a spike even we do not expect it. HostAye utilizes the tools. We have a defined set of tools and technologies that must be put in practice to overcome the spike gradually, it might take some time for us to do that but once we begin with it, the process from then on is pretty smooth. Taking up situations that require urgent addressing according to the priority list is the universal tool.
What are the latest trends in the hosting industry that are going to change the way of hosting in the next several years?
Prasenjit: I would like to begin with the three important trends that are in the talks,
- Green Hosting
- Bigger demand for managed web hosting services
- Protecting user privacy
Where do you see HostAye in 5 years?
Prasenjit: With our proper management skills and rate of client satisfaction, we hope to become one of the largest host and server providers in all of Asia. We can take on competition any day, we are not afraid of that, never were. The work will be hectic, always has been, but I think we have our priorities straight so we are capable of overcoming the toughest of situations without even flinching.
