Can you tell us something about the beginning of the company? When it was founded? What was the idea behind it?

Our business started as a web design and development agency roughly ten years ago. Through our years working with clients, we realized that more people were having issues with their web hosting. Whether it was the hosting platform, features, or service pricing, there was a reoccurring commonality in their complaints.

At the end of 2020, Brickellhost was founded and available to the public. It was our opportunity to offer web hosting solutions with the consumer in mind and cater to the industry gaps we were witnessing.

We offer a multitude of hosting solutions that cater to various business and personal needs. This includes shared reseller, and VPS hosting. Our shared hosting plans are created for small businesses and beginners to access the tools they need to get their websites up and running in a few minutes.

Our reseller hosting plans are ideal for small agencies and web developers who want to host their own clients on separate accounts. They can access all available features without worrying about server management or security. We take care of that so they have more time to focus on their business endeavors.

In your opinion, what is the most important thing that one hosting company needs to have in order to be successful?

I think the key to success is utilizing emerging technology, providing exceptional service, and being transparent with customers. The consumer should always be at the forefront, and companies need to be adaptable to their client’s needs.

Customers care about a couple of things: speed, security, stability, and of course price. How does Brickellhost guarantee these things in order to keep the existing customers, but also to bring new ones?

Prices: We aim to stay competitive with reasonable and affordable prices for our customers. However, we don’t want to offer the cheapest hosting on the market just to gain more traction. Our goal is quality service, not customer quantity. We offer discounted prices for new and existing customers with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Stability: Every hosting account is isolated from the others, each with its own resources. This is essential for providing stability between user websites in a shared hosting environment. For example, if one account has spikes in web traffic, the rest of the users won’t be affected. Their websites will remain online without experiencing any interruptions. Imunify360 is included with all of our hosting plans for every customer. They have access to monitor their files 24/7.

Additionally, we offer free backups as an additional security practice. The backups are stored on off-site remote servers. All users have access to restore a single file, website, or entire cPanel account.

These four pillars are the foundation of successful web hosting, with the bottom line always being website protection. Previous customers that left our hosting services in the past have started to come back, and they always have similar reasoning. They weren’t happy with their hosting providers for not offering speed, guaranteed uptime, backups, and security.

Customer satisfaction is also very important for the success of one company. How is BrickellHost handling this part?

We have in-house support over live chat, tickets, and phone. The majority of our support requests come through tickets, which we respond to in less than five minutes on average. Our team always goes above and beyond to be responsive, diligent, and efficient with customer needs.

For example, if we have a customer that’s a complete beginner, doesn’t know how to set up their WordPress website, and doesn’t wish to go through our knowledge base, we will help them with their WordPress installation. Even though this isn’t in our support scope, we take extra steps to help the customer every step of the way. Why? Because we know they will walk away happy and satisfied. That’s our top priority.

Sometimes I will personally answer support tickets, provide customer guidance, and represent myself as the company owner. I love letting customers know who is behind Brickellhost and creating trusting relationships with our client base. This transparency makes them happier, more comfortable using our services, and willing to stay with us long term.

When the customers create their account, how long does it take for the account to be active?

All new hosting accounts will experience immediate activation, without delays.

When going through your website, we noticed that you offer free migration. Can you tell us more about it and the whole process?

Migrating a website from one provider to another can be challenging, especially for beginners or large websites. We offer free website migration with all our hosting plans to allow for an easy customer transition. When a customer signs up with us, they can open a support ticket and request migration. This process usually takes up to 72 hours, however, sometimes it can be completed within a day depending on the alternate provider. If the website is hosted on cPanel, we can migrate their full cPanel account without additional fees. Our website migrations are included for free with all hosting plans.

What advice would you give about picking the right hosting provider?

There are so many options on the market today and it can be difficult to choose the best web hosting provider, especially if you’re a beginner that’s eager to get started. Many web hosting providers offer different features and pricing packages, it’s important to spend some time researching what you need.

The most important thing to look for is guaranteed uptime. Since websites need to be online 24/7, this is a non-negotiable. Every e-commerce business relies on online sales and website stability to make its income. I always recommend prospective customers make this a priority.

Alongside guaranteed uptime, web server speed is a counterpart of that. Website visitors are expecting a fast website loading time. It’s a sign of professionalism and a key to customer conversion. If a website is slow, a business is losing customers and essential traffic.
