As a hosting review expert/website owner, I always have fun reviewing the smaller providers as they have a strong focus on customer support. Chemicloud is one such host, so I just had to. In the rest of this piece, I’ll share my thoughts on the host’s pricing, support, overall features, performance, and ease of use.
Founded in 2016, ChemiCloud offers a spectrum of hosting solutions, from shared to cloud VPS, with special optimization for WordPress sites. Leveraging the power of 11 data centers and complemented by perks like free domains and SSL certificates, they’ve quickly established themselves as a trusted choice in the hosting arena.
ChemiCloud has truly impressed the hosting community, boasting a flawless 5.0 rating from 543 reviews on Hostadvice and an identical 5.0 from 577 reviews on Trustpilot. Further cementing their stellar reputation is their commendable A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. Such consistent high marks underline Chemicloud’s commitment to quality and their users’ satisfaction.
In my professional experience, ChemiCloud has consistently risen to the occasion, offering unparalleled hosting solutions. Their dedication to performance and user satisfaction makes them a top recommendation for any webmaster.
To rate the different hosting providers we review, effectively and fairly, it’s important to have a ‘control’ or reference point that considers the different important rating factors and then assigns a score based on how each hosting provider performs in the said parameter.
That’s exactly what our experts at HostAdvice have developed – a standardized hosting provider rating methodology that makes it easy to score and rate hosting providers.
Parameter | Score | Why we gave this score |
PRICES | 9.0 | Chemicloud’s cheapest plan (shared) starts at $2.99/month only if you pay for a 3-year commitment. It’s fair but there are cheaper options. However, I’d give them a 9.0 because you can pay monthly, annually, biennially and triennially. |
FEATURES | 8.5 | Varied hosting packages, CloudFlare CDN free, SSD servers, free domain and SSL, 1-click install for WordPress/popular apps, and a modern control panel make Chemicloud feature-rich. However, I’d give them an 8.5 because they don’t offer dedicated hosting. |
PERFORMANCE | 9.5 | Incredible 156 ms response time, 99.9% uptime, SSD servers and storage, and great load times make the host among the high performers. I’d give them a 9.5 because they’re faster than the average host. |
USER FRIENDLINESS | 8.5 | Modern cPanel, intuitive UI, and 1-click installs make the host very user friendly. However, I’d give them an 8.5 because the cPanel may still look intimidating to hosting newbies. |
SUPPORT | 8.5 | Live chat, ticketing, vast knowledgebase, and video tutorials. I’d give them a 9.0 because most hosts don’t offer video tutorials… and while that’s great, they don’t offer phone support. |
Chemicloud offers shared, VPS, reseller and cloud hosting plans – as well as its suite of popular app plans (WordPress, Joomla, WooCommerce). They also offer complementary email hosting so you can connect your domains to a mailbox.
On most of their plans, Chemicloud has a great 45-day money-back guarantee – giving you enough time to decide whether their services are right for you.
And once you’ve decided to commit to Chemicloud, you can pay either with a credit card or Paypal.
I’d particularly recommend their Pro plan if you’re new to hosting – you get 30 GB NVMe storage, can host unlimited websites, and also unmetered bandwidth – at $.4.99/month… billed for 3 years.
Chemicloud offers its VPS plans over monthly and yearly commitments only. With their Cloud 2 (which I recommend), you get 160 GB storage, 5 TB bandwidth, and unlimited websites to host. You also get 4 CPU cores but this time, a 15-day money back guarantee.
I recommend the host’s Grow plan – 90 GB NVMe storage, unlimited websites, 6 TB bandwidth and a free WHMCS license.
Chemicloud offers a host of features but some of the ones that stand out are its 45-day money back guarantee and free website migration. Most other hosts offer free domain transfers, but less usually full website transfers for free. Chemicloud also offers you ultra-flexible payment plans for different budgets:
One very important factor to consider when evaluating whether a host is right for you is its performance. So how do you measure the host’s performance? Some important performance metrics to measure are its speed, uptime, and average fully loaded time.
To measure Chemicloud’s performance, I tested dagrafixdesigns.com – a website hosting on the platform to test its TTFB and overall performance.
These were the results:
On GTMetrix, the website had a remarkable 156 ms and a fully loaded time of 1.3s. The website also had an overall performance of 89%:
Do note, however, that the overall performance is not the same as the uptime. Also, the fully loaded time depends a lot on the website design and website structure.
Chemicloud has a healthy support hub giving you solutions to your needs and inquiries 24/7/365 via:
Live Chat
Chemicloud’s live chat is a strong point for their support. You don’t have to struggle to find it. On any page of their website, just click the message icon and you’ll be redirected to the chat page.
Next, just fill in your email address and you should have an agent join in less than 30 seconds!
I tested their live chat out and the agent was super courteous, knowledgeable, and answered my questions in detail:
Ticketing
Chemicloud also allows you request for support by submitting a help ticket:
Even though this feature is reserved for its current customers only.
Video Tutorials
Yes! You don’t see them so often. As a visual learner (learn more effectively via video), I especially liked Chemicloud’s video tutorials.
However, their videos are actually not hosted on their website – I guess to improve speed – but rather on their YouTube channel.
If you’re a visual learner like me, you’d love them too.
Knowledgebase
And finally, the old-school knowledgebase/help center. Chemicloud features a vast FAQs library with answers to just about any question you may have on setting up your accounts and getting started:
The built-in search is especially helpful to help you find whatever topic you’re looking for, quickly!
To register and signup on Chemicloud, you’d just need to pay for one of their hosting plans, fill in your details, and it’s done.
From the homepage, simply click ‘View plan and pricing’:
Choose any of the plans you want – shared, VPS, WordPress, reseller – and click ‘Get started now’. Next, you’d be asked for your domain info whether you want to register a domain for free or you already have a domain.
Type in your domain name and click ‘Use’. You’ll then be redirected to the additional info page where you can choose your server location, enter a promo code, and choose extra addons.
Click ‘Continue’ and proceed to the checkout page where you’d be asked for your personal details and payment method details. Fill in the forms and voila! Your account is ready.
I especially like Chemicloud’s client dashboard and cPanel package. Once you’re registered, you get access to Chemicloud’s intuitive dashboard that’s mobile friendly:
Allowing you manage your packages and account on the go.
Chemicloud also features a modern cPanel – the most popular backend control panel on the market for all your more technical tweaks and controls.
If your website is powered by WordPress, it’s best to go for Chemicloud’ WordPress plans. You get 1-click installs, free website migration, and 1-click WordPress staging.
To install WordPress in the Chemicloud cPanel, you’ll use the Softaculous app installer in cPanel. Click on the WordPress logo in the installer and then ‘Install Now’.
Next, fill in the details – domain, website name, site meta description, set up your admin details – password and email… and click ‘Install’.
You now have WordPress and can login whenever you want.
The quickest way to add an email account on Chemicloud is to do it in cPanel. You can login to your cPanel straight from your account dashboard.
Once you’re in, navigate to ‘Email Accounts’ under ‘Email’. Click ‘CREATE+’ and fill in the necessary email info – address, domain it will be tied to, password, mailbox size, and finally, choose ‘Do not automatically create folders’:
Click ‘Create’ and it’s done!
Chemicloud is a young hosting company that’s making a name for itself and their packages are indeed awesome. First, they have incredible support, a super-intuitive UI designed with beginners in mind, and a great money-back guarantee.
I recommend Chemicloud as an excellent host overall with good value for money. Their servers are also impressively fast, so your website will load just as quick. My only issues with them will be that they don’t offer phone support and they also don’t offer dedicated hosting.
Aside from those though, I really like how straight to the point their packages are making it incredibly easy to decide what’s right for you and get started with them.
Plan Name | Warranty | Price | |

Yes. Chemicloud has a ton of features specifically optimized for hosting newbies. Their account management dashboard/client area especially, is designed to be incredibly intuitive and easy to understand for just about anyone.
Chemicloud is fully independently owned – allowing them to be more customer-centric and innovate their solutions without outside interference.
Some good Chemicloud alternatives are Hostinger, Hostgator, Cloudways, and GoDaddy.
